Minerva’s Virtual Academy – Branded Partner

Minerva’s Virtual Academy is an award-winning British online independent school for pupils aged 12 – 18. Based in London, its pupils study the Cambridge British Curriculum in over 28 countries around the world, including the UK, France, Rwanda, Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Switzerland, and Italy. Pupils study from home or wherever suits them and choose from over 20 subjects at GCSE and A Level (British qualifications that are recognised by universities and employers all over the globe). Personal mentors support each child outside lesson hours. A dynamic weekly timetable includes Live Lessons, Virtual Assemblies, After School Clubs, Social Rooms, Wellbeing sessions, and an exciting co-curricular learning programme called World Changers that challenges pupils to come up with solutions to some of the world’s most pressing problems. Twice a term, pupils attend non-compulsory school trips to cultural destinations across the UK to enrich their learning and deepen the friendships made online. The school plans to add meetups outside the UK in the near future.

Minerva’s Virtual Academy is run by headmaster Lawrence Tubb, who taught at Wycombe Abbey (one of the UK’s top private schools) for nine years, along with a team of outstanding teachers who’ve come together to re-define what’s possible for virtual schooling in the 21st century.
