Africa\u2019s Official Ministerial Summit<\/span><\/h2>

We are proud to announce the 7th Innovation Africa taking place in Mozambique in 2017, under the official joint patronage of the Ministry of Science & Technology, Higher & Technical Education and the Ministry of Education & Human Development.<\/p>\n

Innov<\/span>ation<\/span> Africa<\/span> 2017<\/span><\/strong> is firmly established as the continent\u2019s number one high level ministerial forum where industry partners enjoy pre-scheduled meetings and committed engagement with ministers and senior government officials from over 40 countries. It is Africa\u2019s \u201cmust participate\u201d event for education, innovation & ICT.<\/p>\n

In 2016 the summit achieved record numbers of participants and an astonishing 1,200 one-to-one meetings took place between 560 delegates representing 48 countries. Leading industry partners agree that Innovation Africa is the most productive and enjoyable experience of all events, emphasising the quality of the audience and high level status of decision-making participants.<\/p>\n

In 2017, the full force of the Government of Mozambique, under cabinet endorsement, will be ensuring a record number of participating ministers from across the continent. For the first time ever Innovation Africa is jointly patronised by two government ministries with direct invitations being confirmed by Hon Conceita Sortane, Minister of Education & Human Development and Hon Jorge Olivio Penicela Nhambiu, Minister of Science & Technology, Higher & Technical Education.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Pre-Scheduled Ministerial Meetings<\/span><\/h2>

Innovation Africa is working closely with the most senior officials in the Government of Mozambique to maximize the ministerial attendance at Innovation Africa and fulfil our promise of delivering high-level pre-scheduled to participating partners and delegates.<\/p>\n

In 2017, participants will have the choice of booking meetings in advance of the event with ministers of education, higher education, ICT, science & technology, special government agencies for education, teaching and ICT delivery, universities and technical colleges. Over 260 government officials, from across Africa, participated in 2016 and this year in Mozambique we have the support of a record number of ministers who regard Innovation Africa as the essential event to attend to meet with their counterparts, industry leaders and solution providers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
